So perhaps jump over to tumblr, where I can ramble about things without feeling guilty?

Study Abroad?
I love love love the idea of going and studying in the US, as a way to get back and see everyone again, and just because I had such a brilliant trip the first time around! After meetings kids studying abroad in Berlin, the thought of Europe is super appealing, but although I have no doubt i’ll go back to Europe as soon as I can, I think i’ll be back in America even sooner…
SO. Here, are potential universities I could choose from… If someone random stumbles across this and just so happens to attend any of these places, do tell me what they are like.

I wonder if something like this would/should happen, or whether I should just stay in Australia until my degree is done?

I can’t even begin to describe how strange it is being back home in Australia, after nearly 6 months of random travelling. I’m still on Berlin time, and although I think I could spend all night just looking through all my stuff, it may be best to sleeeeep sometime soon. So much catching up to do in the next few days.
And maybe I’ll just keep this blog to start planning my next US trip? Study abroad perhaps? heh.

I didn’t take enough photos, or see enough museums, or generally spend enough time there, but I did have an amazing time in Berlin.
My 6 days were spent wandering around, staying up too late, sleeping in too often, buying pretty scarves from awesome flea markets, wearing as many layers as possible when venturing outside, happily navigating the S-Bahn and the U-Bahn, definitely enjoying German beer, getting far too excited about some giant dominos falling for the 20th anniversary of the fall of the wall, going to a brilliant Arctic Monkeys concert, hanging out with some lovely new friends and just generally not feeling the need to be as much of a tourist as I have for the last 5.5 months.
It was hard to leave, and I already miss the Northern Hemisphere ridiculously, but am now at Singapore airport, about to take my 21st flight for the trip and finally end up back in Melbourne after all this time.

So i suppose i’ve been somewhat occupied lately.
By things such as real cappuccinos, ancient ruins, sangria, pizza, ryanair flights, self centred room mates, pints of guinness and beautiful autumn strolls.
After two or so weeks in England, staying with some amazing friends, I headed to Rome and met up with the lovely Laura. Rome was just incredible. The city itself is utterly beautiful, we saw the pope himself, and our hostel can be thanked for giving us 4 ridiculously fun nights.
Next, it was off to Dublin, where we spent another 4 nights, this time wandering around Temple Bar, eating 99c cheesy garlic chips, taking another great neweurope walking tour and doing some retail therapy in top shop, as well as the obligatory drinking of guinness! We also met some of the strangest boys in the world. I can’t even begin to describe them!
A flight took us back to the John Lennon Airport in Liverpool, where we were picked up by Laura’s uncle, and I stayed with them for a few nights. I’d been at that very house 10 years ago, but couldnt exactly say that I remembered it.
Spending some time with a beautiful friend from camp at the moment, Lyndsay, in Lancaster where she goes to univeristy. With halloween only a few days away, we went out last night dressed as ghosts. Fun times!

So, whilst in America, I keep thinking about how it would be so snazzy to create something that you could try to introduce to other countries, which would hopefully mean an eventual infiltration of said thing to THE WORLD.
Earlier this year I created the awkward turtle high five.
As part of my attempt to introduce the awkward turtle high five to the world, I submitted a definition to urbandictionary.com
The awkward turtle high five is a two man version of the regular awkward turtle. Each person takes part in a regular high five, however, once hands have collided mid air, you keep your hands touching and then you each rotate your thumb as you move your hands upward, almost as if the awkward turtle was going for a swim into the sky.
The awkward turtle high five can be used in situations to overcome awkward moments, or just for fun.

CA was incredibly snazzy. I need to write more about it.
Then today I went to the Grand Canyon, which was AMAZING. I should also write more about that.
So, uh..more to come?
